"K.ABARET” is an art-photography showcase promoting the novel genre “koddrip” that blends photography with literary titles submitted by people from around the world to the artist.
Alex Koddrip – the author of this genre, is a rising talented artist born in Russia, who lived and studied in the USA, traveled through various places creating his artworks, and now lives in Switzerland.
The artist’s statement impels to re-title our trivial reality by creating a distinctive visual demonstration of people’s personal viewpoints. Koddrip aims to create change—the change that results by dismantling societal clichés and exposing individuals’ unique identities in order to unleash their full potential.
The “K.ABARET” is all about the 21st century’s Zeitgeist with its vibrant fast pace, new technologies, online social networks, global mindset, obsession with scandals, celebrities, and, of course, eternal human life experiences. This showcase ran from August 21st 2010 until September 12th 2010 in the world know Cabaret Voltaire - a place that played a pivotal role in the founding of the anarchic art movement known as Dada.
